Fort Lee Public Schools anticipates the need to seek an elementary school teacher. Qualifications include holding a NJ Elementary School K-8 or K-6 certification, with dual certification in Teacher of Students with Disabilities preferred. Experience working with elementary school students, knowledge of NJSLS, and ability to work in a collaborative environment as part of a team are required. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, are necessary.

Must meet criminal background check for both federal and state as per the Department of Education under NJSA 18A:6-7.2.

Working Conditions:

Full time, tenure track, 10 month position, with benefits. Salary range based on FLEA salary guide which ranges between $64,375.00 - $, commensurate with experience. Position start date:
September 1, 2026 plus three days new teacher orientation (mandatory) on August 24, 25, and 26, 2026.
