Position Overview:
Chitra is seeking an experienced
92Y – Unit Supply Specialist Instructor
to support training operations for theU.S. Army Quartermaster School at Fort Lee, Virginia
.
The 92Y Instructor will provide classroom, blended-learning, hands-on practical exercise, and examination support for Quartermaster School courses. The instructor will train, observe, monitor, and evaluate students in accordance with approved
Programs of Instruction (POIs), Course Management Plans (CMPs), Army doctrine, and applicable TRADOC, USACASCOM, and Quartermaster School requirements
.
The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience as a
92Y Unit Supply Specialist
, previous instructional or observer/controller experience, and practical knowledge of Army supply operations and the
Global Combat Support System–Army (GCSS-Army).
Position Responsibilities:
- Deliver classroom, blended-learning, and hands-on instruction for assigned Quartermaster School courses.
- Train, observe, monitor, and evaluate students during classroom instruction, hands-on practical exercises, and hands-on examinations.
- Conduct instruction in accordance with approved Programs of Instruction, Course Management Plans, Army doctrine, and applicable training requirements.
- Employ
blended-learning products and Interactive Multimedia Instruction (IMI)as part of course delivery. - Utilize the
Global Combat Support System–Army (GCSS-Army) Live Educational Environment
to support student instruction and practical exercises. - Operate and utilize required instructional technology, training equipment, and course materials.
- Evaluate student performance and provide appropriate instructional feedback.
- Maintain a professional and effective learning environment.
- Work collaboratively with Government personnel, fellow instructors, students, and other training personnel.
Required Qualifications:
- Qualified and experienced in
MOS 92Y – Unit Supply Specialist
. - Minimum of
six years of experience in MOS 92Y
. Active Component and Reserve Component service will be credited in accordance with applicable contract requirements. - Prior experience as an
instructor or observer/controller
. - Experience with the
GCSS-Army Live Educational Environment
. - Experience employing or ability to effectively utilize
blended-learning products and Interactive Multimedia Instruction
. - Ability to train and monitor students during classroom instruction, hands-on practical exercises, and hands-on examinations.
- Outstanding oral and written communication skills.
- Proficiency with
Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
. - Ability to effectively use required instructional technology, training equipment, and course materials.
- Ability to work effectively and professionally with students, Government personnel, and fellow instructors.
- Ability to provide documentation verifying required qualifications, certifications, and training prior to beginning work.
Physical and Environmental Requirements
Candidates must be able to:
- Lift and carry items weighing up to
45 pounds
. - Stand, sit, and walk for extended periods.
- Conduct and monitor classroom and hands-on training activities.
- Work outdoors for extended periods, including during inclement weather.
- Perform duties in temperatures ranging from approximately
15°F to 110°F. - Work in classrooms, shops, field-training sites, and other designated training environments.
Place of Performance:
The primary full-time duty location is
Fort Lee, Virginia
, including the surrounding
Appomattox Water Authority and North Range training areas
.
Work may be performed at a contractor-designated remote site when workload and mission requirements permit.
