Chitra is seeking an experienced
92S – Shower and Laundry Specialist Instructor
to support training operations for theU.S. Army Quartermaster School at Fort Lee, Virginia
.
The 92S Instructor will provide classroom, blended-learning, hands-on practical exercise, equipment operations, and examination support for Quartermaster School courses. The instructor will train, observe, monitor, and evaluate students in accordance with approved
Programs of Instruction (POIs), Course Management Plans (CMPs), Army doctrine, and applicable TRADOC, USACASCOM, and Quartermaster School requirements
.
The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience as a
92S Shower and Laundry Specialist
, previous instructional or observer/controller experience, and the technical expertise necessary to safely train Soldiers in the operation of military shower and laundry equipment.
- Deliver classroom, blended-learning, practical exercise, equipment operations, and hands-on instruction for assigned Quartermaster School courses.
- Train, assist, observe, monitor, and evaluate students throughout assigned training activities.
- Conduct instruction in accordance with approved Programs of Instruction, Course Management Plans, Army doctrine, and applicable training requirements.
- Employ
blended-learning products and Interactive Multimedia Instruction (IMI)as part of course delivery. - Train and monitor students in the safe and effective operation of:
- Laundry Advanced Systems
- Containerized Batch Laundry systems
- 12-Head Shower Systems
- Identify and correct
safety hazards and high-risk conditions
associated with shower and laundry equipment and training operations. - Monitor students during classroom instruction, practical exercises, equipment operations, and hands-on examinations.
- Operate and utilize required instructional technology, training equipment, and course materials.
- Evaluate student performance and provide appropriate instructional feedback.
- Maintain a safe, professional, and effective learning environment.
- Work collaboratively with Government personnel, fellow instructors, students, and other training personnel.
- Qualified and experienced in
MOS 92S – Shower and Laundry Specialist
. - Minimum of
six years of experience in MOS 92S
, consistent with the task order’s general MOS-experience requirement. Active Component and Reserve Component service will be credited in accordance with applicable contract requirements. - At least
five years of experience in the functional area being instructed OR at least five years of experience as a Senior Shower and Laundry Specialist
. - Prior experience as an
instructor or observer/controller
. - Knowledge and practical experience with military shower and laundry equipment and operations.
- Ability to recognize, address, and correct safety hazards and high-risk conditions associated with applicable equipment.
- Experience employing or ability to effectively utilize
blended-learning products and Interactive Multimedia Instruction
. - Outstanding oral and written communication skills.
- Proficiency with
Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
. - Ability to effectively use required instructional technology, training equipment, and course materials.
- Ability to work effectively and professionally with students, Government personnel, and fellow instructors.
- Ability to provide documentation verifying required qualifications, certifications, and training prior to beginning work.
