Position Overview:

Chitra is seeking an experienced
92W – Water Treatment Specialist Instructor
to support training operations for theU.S. Army Quartermaster School at Fort Lee, Virginia
.

The 92W Instructor will provide classroom, blended-learning, hands-on practical exercise, and examination support for Quartermaster School courses. The instructor will train, observe, monitor, and evaluate students in accordance with approved
Programs of Instruction (POIs), Course Management Plans (CMPs), Army doctrine, and applicable TRADOC, USACASCOM, and Quartermaster School requirements
.

The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience as a
92W Water Treatment Specialist
, prior instructional or observer/controller experience, and the technical expertise necessary to safely and effectively train Soldiers in Army water treatment operations and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver classroom, blended-learning, hands-on practical exercise, and examination support for assigned Quartermaster School courses.
  • Train, observe, monitor, and evaluate students during classroom instruction, hands-on practical exercises, and hands-on examinations.
  • Conduct instruction in accordance with approved
    Programs of Instruction (POIs), Course Management Plans (CMPs), Army doctrine, and applicable TRADOC, USACASCOM, and Quartermaster School requirements
    .
  • Employ
    blended-learning products and Interactive Multimedia Instruction (IMI)as part of course delivery.
  • Provide hands-on training involving applicable military water treatment equipment and systems.
  • Operate and utilize required instructional technology, training equipment, and course materials.
  • Monitor students during equipment operations and practical exercises to promote safe and effective performance.
  • Evaluate student performance and provide appropriate instructional feedback.
  • Maintain a safe, professional, and effective learning environment.
  • Collaborate effectively with Government personnel, fellow instructors, students, and other training personnel.
  • Support training conducted in classrooms, shops, field-training sites, ranges, and other designated training environments.
Required Qualifications:
  • Qualified and experienced in
    MOS 92W – Water Treatment Specialist
    .
  • Minimum of
    six years of experience in MOS 92W
    . Active Component and Reserve Component service will be credited in accordance with applicable contract requirements.
  • Prior experience as an
    instructor or observer/controller
    .
  • Experience employing or ability to effectively utilize
    blended-learning products and Interactive Multimedia Instruction (IMI).
  • Ability to train and monitor students during classroom instruction, hands-on practical exercises, and hands-on examinations.
  • Ability to complete the required
    Range Safety Course and become range-certified at Fort Lee within 60 calendar days
    after beginning work.
  • Outstanding oral and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency with
    Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
    .
  • Ability to effectively use required instructional technology, training equipment, and course materials.
  • Ability to work professionally and effectively with students, Government personnel, and fellow instructors.
  • Ability to provide documentation verifying required qualifications, certifications, and training prior to beginning work.
Physical and Environmental Requirements
  • Lift and carry items weighing up to
    45 pounds
    .
  • Stand, sit, and walk for extended periods.
  • Conduct and monitor classroom and hands-on training activities.
  • Climb into and out of military equipment
    as required to conduct and support training.
  • Walk and perform instructional duties on
    rocky terrain
