Our premiere client's Digital Engineering Enablement team is seeking a Platform Dev Sec Ops Engineer in the Dev Ops and Security space. The candidate will work with a team of passionate engineers who strive to demonstrate continued excellence in the fields of Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery/Deployment, and Infrastructure as Code.
The candidate will work on build, deploy, and maintenance aspects of digital applications. The candidate will also closely work with software developers, infrastructure administrators, and enterprise architects to plan for, implement, and maintain software solutions and systems architecture technologies that run digital products and services.
Using the latest tools and technologies, this role will support environments’ CI/CD, CDN, Infrastructure, and Security for applications hosted in data centers and in the cloud. Responsibilities include implementing solutions to provision and manage environments; performing vulnerability scans and patch deployment; managing Reverse Proxy environments; and monitoring existing infrastructure and applications.
ResponsibilitiesBuild, deploy, and maintain CI/CD pipelines across digital applications
Administer Content Delivery Network changes for properties and security
Administer security aspects across data centers and cloud environments
Demonstrate successful design, planning, and implementation of highly reliable solutions, including troubleshooting and capacity planning
Collaborate with Cyber Security to identify solutions for remediation of vulnerabilities in the web and middleware infrastructure
Maintain a deep understanding of network security principles and how to apply them
Perform hands‑on troubleshooting of network and security issues using packet capture tools
Demonstrate strong understanding of Content Delivery Networks and content caching using reverse proxies
Perform hands‑on troubleshooting of hardware and software issues
Partner with product managers, technical program managers, and business stakeholders on a cross‑functional team to drive projects forward
Manage technical risk and promote responsible innovation
Participate in a 24/7 on‑call rotation supporting critical production services
Required QualificationsMust be willing to work onsite and participate in an on‑call rotation
Must be willing to work evenings, overnights, weekends, and holidays with little or no notice
4+ years of experience managing large-scale websites
4+ years of experience with application deployment processes / CI/CD
2+ years of experience with Linux systems
2+ years of experience with Content Delivery Networks
3+ years of experience supporting services, micro‑services, and n‑tier systems
2+ years of experience with software automation technologies
2+ years of experience with Infrastructure as Code practices
2+ years of extensive experience with Amazon Web Services and Google Cloud Platform
2+ years working with Code and Infrastructure Security
1+ years of experience with Vulnerability Management / Automation – AWS SSM, Spacewalk, etc.
2+ years of experience with application and container instrumentation using APM tools such as Datadog, New Relic, Sysdig, App Dynamics, and Zabbix
2+ years of experience implementing and monitoring security policies for applications and infrastructure – WAF, Site Shield
2+ years of experience with security tools such as Crowd Strike, Cloudflare, Prisma, Qualys, Veracode, and Sonar Qube
2+ years of experience with Disaster Recovery and High Availability initiatives
3+ years of experience with scripting languages such as Bash, Python, Perl, and Groovy
3+ years of experience with HTTP servers (Apache, Nginx, IIS)
2+ years of experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Salt, Chef, and Puppet
3+ years of experience with application servers
2+ years of experience with storage integrations – SAN, NAS, EFS, and NFS
Preferred QualificationsAWS Professional Certification
