Position summary

Lead Task 6 advanced predictive and prescriptive analytics for sustainment forecasting, operational optimization, risk mitigation, and decision support. You will work with the core AI/ML, Azure, BI, and Power Platform team to deliver operationally useful capabilities.

What you will do

  • Develop and integrate predictive models for parts availability, personnel allocation, equipment readiness, fleet management, shop stock, maintenance, and supply-chain risk.
  • Design recommendation engines and AI-enabled workflows that improve repair actions, resource allocation, maintenance scheduling, procurement, and replenishment decisions.
  • Implement anomaly-detection and risk-assessment methods that identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and potential disruptions.
  • Define model acceptance criteria, performance measures, human-review controls, and model-improvement methods.
  • Partner with the Azure Engineer on data pipelines and model deployment; partner with BI and Power Apps teams on user-facing delivery.
  • Document analytical methods, validation results, operational limitations, and sustainment procedures.

Required qualifications

  • Active U.S. DoD SECRET security clearance required at the time of application.
  • Ability to satisfy applicable DD Form 254, CAC, installation access, information assurance, AT/OPSEC, and other task-order access requirements.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills and ability to work effectively with technical and mission stakeholders.
  • Bachelor’s degree in data science, computer science, engineering, mathematics, operations research, or related discipline.
  • 8+ years of machine learning, predictive analytics, operations research, decision science, or AI solution-development experience.
  • Advanced Python, SQL, forecasting, model evaluation, and stakeholder-validation skills.

Preferred qualifications

  • Master’s degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience with maintenance, logistics, readiness, supply chain, fleet management, model risk, MLOps, or federal/DoD analytics.
