We are seeking a results-driven Senior Sales Manager with a minimum of three years of experience in the photonics industry to drive revenue growth, expand market share, and strengthen customer relationships. The ideal candidate will have strong technical sales expertise, a deep understanding of photonics products and applications, and a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets. This role requires a strategic thinker who can identify new business opportunities, manage key accounts, and collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, product management, and operations teams.
Key ResponsibilitiesSales & Business Development
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue and growth targets
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within target markets (e.g., telecom, medical,
- Expand existing customer accounts and build long-term strategic partnerships
- Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing
- Serve as primary point of contact for key customers
- Understand customer technical requirements and align solutions accordingly
- Prepare and deliver technical presentations, proposals, and quotations
- Negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies
- Provide market feedback to product management and engineering teams
- Support product launches and go-to-market strategies
- Work closely with engineering teams to develop customized solutions
- Maintain accurate sales forecasts and CRM records
- Prepare regular sales performance reports for leadership
Required
- Minimum 3 years of sales experience in the photonics industry
- Strong knowledge of photonics components, systems, and applications
- Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets
- Technical aptitude with ability to understand complex optical systems
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Physics, Optics, Photonics, or related field
- Experience selling lasers, optical components, fiber optics, imaging systems, or related technologies
- Established network within photonics or related high-tech industries
- Experience managing key accounts or distributor networks
- MBA or advanced technical degree
- Strategic thinking and planning
- Relationship-building and customer focus
- Strong negotiation and closing skills
