Kedrion Biopharma is an international company that collects and fractionates blood plasma to produce and distribute plasma-derived therapeutic products for use in treating and preventing serious diseases, disorders, and conditions such as Hemophilia, Primary Immune System Deficiencies and Rh-Sensitization.

Job Summary

The Strategic Account Manager is responsible for supporting the growth and contract execution of Kedrion’s most important IG customers, including designated national and local strategic accounts. This role will report to the Executive Director, Strategic Accounts and work closely with the corporate account team, and field IG sales teams to drive IG portfolio adoption, execute account growth strategies, develop new business and strengthen long‑term partnerships.

you’ll do
  • Creates and operationalizes an integrated account strategy, including prioritization, and milestones, to deliver on annual business objectives.
  • Positions Kedrion and our individual IG brands through strategic, insight‑led customer engagement aligned to approved labeling and executed in a fair, ethical manner consistent with all applicable legal, regulatory, and industry standards.
  • Anticipates and mitigates access, pull‑through, and reimbursement barriers by influencing stakeholders, providing resources and mobilizing matrix partners to implement solutions.
  • Build executive‑level relationships with key decision‑makers, translating customer goals into account plans and elevating actionable insights to internal stakeholders.
  • Drive contract compliance by monitoring adherence to terms (e.g., ordering, reporting, service‑level expectations) and coordinating issue resolution with Corporate Account Team, Sales and leadership.
  • Drive performance to deliver sales and broader business outcomes, adjusting strategy based on leading indicators and market dynamics.
  • Maintains high‑quality, timely documentation and communication of account activity, opportunities, and next‑best actions to inform leadership decisions.
  • Drive adoption of Kedrion’s IG product portfolio through coordinated training, education, and program implementation.
  • Synthesizes marketplace insights and performance analytics to provide strategic recommendations for Sales and Business Unit leadership and to optimize field execution.
  • Models uncompromising compliance by adhering to the Kedrion company policies and all applicable standards, including (as applicable) the PhRMA Code.
  • Partners with corporate account team, other stakeholders to align on account strategies, and accelerate achievement of business objectives.
  • Helps Identify, qualify, and pursue new strategic opportunities (new locations, new partners, expanded protocols, and incremental product adoption) and build business cases for internal approval.
  • Attend National and Local Conferences to strengthen market understanding, identify emerging trends, and inform account strategy.
  • Optimizes deployment of approved resources to maximize territory and account performance.
  • Contributes to a high‑performing, collaborative team culture and supports continuous improvement across the field organization.
  • Identify business risks and opportunities within accounts and recommend strategic actions.
  • Participate in Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) and account planning sessions.
  • Utilize strong analytical skills to build & monitor account performance metrics including growth, utilization trends and lead QBRs.
Qualifications and need‑to‑know
  • Bachelor's degree required; additional education or training preferred.
  • Minimum ten years of progressive pharmaceutical/biologics sales experience.
  • Requires 3 years of successful selling or management experience with Specialty Pharmacy and AIS/AIC.
  • GPO experience is preferred.
  • Contract execution, pull‑through, reimbursement, and buy‑and‑bill experience highly preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and planning skills; strategic thinking; and effective communication.
  • Demonstrated strong presentation skills to executive leadership.
  • Perform well under pressure in fast‑paced environments and manages multiple priorities.
  • Proficient in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint with strong presentation skills.
