You’ll work with businesses of 1–99 employees – the entrepreneurs powering local economies – helping them succeed with essential HR, payroll, and compliance solutions. Through trusted partners like CPAs and client referrals, you won’t just sell – you’ll build relationships, unlock opportunities, and make a real impact.
Responsibilities- Generate new business through referral partners and outbound outreach
- Build relationships with CPAs and existing clients to drive new logos
- Execute high‑volume daily activity (calls, follow‑ups, and partner touchpoints) to build pipeline
- Sell a full suite of solutions: payroll, HR, benefits, retirement, and compliance
- Manage a fast‑paced sales cycle (1–2 weeks) with small business owners
- Own the full process—from prospecting to closing deals
- Early‑career sales professionals with 1–5 years of relevant experience
- Comfort with high activity, fast cycles, and transactional deal sizes
- Resilience, drive, and competitive motivation
- Coachability and ability to quickly apply feedback
- Experience working toward goals or quotas (sales or similar environments) and demonstrated leadership experience

- High school diploma – required

Paychex typically offers a base salary ranging from $55,000 to $88,350, which includes commissions and bonuses. Total compensation may vary based on location, skills, education, and experience and may exceed this range.
