Compensation: $160,000–$180,000 annually + performance-based bonus

A global photonics technology company is seeking an experienced sales professional to support continued growth in the U.S. market. The organization provides advanced photonics products and solutions for applications across telecommunications, medical, industrial, semiconductor, sensing, and research markets.

The Senior Sales Manager will drive revenue growth, expand market share, develop new business, and strengthen strategic customer relationships. This role requires strong technical sales expertise, knowledge of photonics products and applications, and a demonstrated ability to achieve sales targets while collaborating with engineering, product management, and operations teams.

• Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue and growth targets.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities across targeted photonics markets.
• Expand existing accounts and build long‑term customer partnerships.
• Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through closing.
• Serve as the primary contact for key accounts and identify customer technical requirements.
• Prepare and deliver technical presentations, proposals, and quotations.
• Negotiate pricing, contracts, and commercial terms.
• Monitor market trends, competitors, and emerging technologies.
• Provide customer and market feedback to engineering and product teams.
• Support product launches and go‑to‑market initiatives.
• Collaborate with engineering teams on customized customer solutions.
• Maintain sales forecasts, CRM records, and performance reports.

Required:

• Minimum 3 years of sales experience in the photonics industry.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physics, Optics, Photonics, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of photonics components, systems, and applications.
• Proven record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
• Technical aptitude to understand and communicate complex optical systems.
• Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and closing skills.
• Strategic, customer‑focused approach with strong relationship‑building abilities.

• Experience selling lasers, optical components, fiber optics, imaging systems, or related technologies.
• Established network within the photonics or related high‑tech industries.
• Experience managing key accounts or distributor networks.
• MBA or advanced technical degree.
