SP+ Shuttle Driver DOT will be responsible for the safe operation of shuttle buses and transporting passengers, ensuring timely and seamless service. Additional duties include:

• Operate shuttle bus routes in Fort Lee, New Jersey.
• Provide exceptional client and customer experience guided by the SP+ Promise, answering questions, offering directions.
• Perform vehicle inspections, maintain bus cleanliness, log trip counts, and assist disabled passengers.
• Be present at work every scheduled day, arrive on time, and maintain uniform.
• Carry a valid state‑issued driver’s license while on duty.
• Maintain an acceptable DMV record.
• Report accidents, violations, safety hazards, or unusual occurrences to the Facility Manager.
• Communicate debris, water, oil spills, etc. to garage office.
• Substitute for Cashiers or Valets when authorized.
• Know all areas of the garage, major streets, landmarks, and freeways to assist customers.
• Assist customers with luggage and other items at airport locations.
• Help Facility Manager with other duties as needed.

Education/Experience

Required:

Less than high school education or one month related experience/training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

License Requirement: Valid CDL Class A, B, or C with Passenger Endorsement per DOT regulations.

DOT Medical Card: Medical Examiner’s Certificate (DOT Medical Card) is required.

Availability: Availability to work shifts, including 3rd shift and weekends, may be required.

Language

Skills:

Ability to read, comprehend, and write simple instructions and present information to customers and employees.

Mathematical

Skills:

Ability to perform basic arithmetic with American currency.

Appearance: Maintain neat, clean appearance; wear uniform at all times.

Physical Demands: Must stand, walk, use hands for cash and equipment; may lift up to 75 lbs occasionally.

$24.00 per hour
