Job Details and Requirements
We will be discussing a Site Admin located at Xcel's Fort Lupton Plant near Fort Lupton, CO. This resource will be needed to support construction of a new facility. The site admin will be responsible for running the job site trailer, ordering supplies, attending meetings, including a Plan of the Day meeting that begins at 7:00 AM each day, taking meeting minutes and generally providing administrative support to those working on site and out of the trailer.

Early Start:
Arrives at the job site trailer before 7:00 AM. Plan of the Day Meeting:
Attends the daily meeting at 7:00 AM, takes minutes, and distributes them. Administrative Tasks:
Manages the job site trailer, orders supplies, and ensures everything is running smoothly. Meeting Support:
Attends various meetings throughout the day, takes notes, and provides administrative support. Coordination:
Coordinates with on-site staff and those working remotely to ensure project needs are met. End of Day:
Wraps up any remaining tasks and prepares for the next day.
Site admin will be supporting the entire site including those that work on site and in the trailer in addition to guests/visitors that arrive.
Customer InteractionSite admin will interface with restaurants and goods/services vendors for catering or other needs that may arise on site.
Work Environment and CultureIndividual contributor; the only admin at the trailer, but there are other site admins in different areas/sites that this resource could lean on for support.
Ramp-up TimeWithin a few weeks.
Work HoursEarly start at 7:00 AM to attend the Plan of the Day meeting. Day usually wraps up around 3:30 PM.

The role involves a mix of administrative tasks, meeting support, and coordination, providing a diverse workday. On‑Site Presence:
Working on‑site allows for direct interaction with project staff and a hands‑on approach to problem solving. Position is slated for 12 months but the project will last until around the end of 2028 and the hope is for this admin to be on the team for the entirety of the project.
Skills and Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in an administrative capacity.
- Demonstrated work ethic with the ability to step in, be proactive with requests and the overall ability and willingness to assist.
- Experience with or proficiency in Microsoft Office and SharePoint, One Note, Adobe Pro/Blue Beam. Experience with expense reporting using Sum Total software or similar.
- Experience working in SAP. Helpful but not required.
- Valid driver’s license, dependable transportation, and at least a high school diploma or GED.
Ideal candidates will be resourceful, able to troubleshoot and solve problems, strong written and verbal communicators, not afraid to collaborate, ask questions, show strong initiative, and willingness to learn.
Ideal Candidate BackgroundAt least 5 years of previous administrative experience.
Preferred ExperienceExperience from Mortenson, Vestas, or previously supporting vendor side in or a construction trailer capacity. These office administrative skills are highly transferable.
CertificationsNot required, but certifications in MS Office suite or SharePoint to illustrate proficiency would be nice to see.
