PRE-CONSTRUCTION MANAGER - FT LUPTON, CO

The Preconstruction Manager will be responsible for Leading alternative delivery projects pursuits (CMAR, CMGC, DB), construction estimating, cost management, design management, proposal writing, and budgeting in the heavy utilities sector.
Primary Responsibilities- Proposal Coordination:
Lead all responses to Requests for Qualifications (RFQ) and Requests for Proposal (RFP), including strategy meetings, content development, layout design, and production of proposal materials. - Strategic Development:
Provide strategy, storyboarding, and message development for pursuits and presentations. - Estimating - Develop 30% - 60% - 90% GMP
- Presentation Preparation:
Prepare interview presentation materials and collaborate with operations staff to strategize, rehearse, and present to external clients. - Assist Marketing Team with Material Creation:
Develop marketing materials such as informational documents, qualification packages, advertisements, displays, and brochures. - Process Understanding:
Maintain a thorough understanding of RFQ and RFP processes for public and private civil construction projects, with knowledge of private and federal procurement requirements and regulations considered a plus.
- Construction Estimating and Cost Management skills (HCSS Heavy Bid, Blue Beam)
- Design Management and Proposal Writing skills
- Budgeting skills
- Experience in the heavy utilities sector is a plus
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
