QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE POSITION- Three years of experience in coaching Middle School Cross Country, Boys or Girls;
- Head coach experience preferred;
- Personal experience in the sport to be coached preferred;
- Certificate(s), license(s) or other legal credential(s) required by the District;
- Safety training in the sport;
- Successful experience in record keeping and inventory procedures;
- Strong, positive human relations and communication skills;
- Philosophy which encourages individual growth and teamwork;
- Models sportsmanlike behavior at all times;

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT- Coaching Assignment is for the 2026/2027 season, as well as off‑season activities as applicable.
- All contracts/agreements for employment of personnel shall be subject to the approval of the BOE.
- No smoking is allowed in any Weld County School District Re 8 buildings.
- Selected applicant must comply with the District's Drug‑Free Workplace policy.
- As required by the Immigration Reform and Control Act (IRCA), the selected applicant must verify, within 72 hours of employment, his/her legal right to be employed in the United States.
