Overview:
Our Pipeline Facilities Operator take pride in supporting our Suncor Energy USA Pipelines team by safely operating and maintaining the equipment to ensure optimum reliability and availability of our assets. Salary Range: $75,000 - $100,000
Salary ranges are included for job postings where required by law. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

- 3 years of experience as a technician or other related experience or skills in the pipeline industry
- A High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED)
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Strong technical knowledge regarding communications and control equipment, digital and analog circuitry, pumps, motors, valves and medium voltage equipment
- Proficient in reading various electrical/ electronic drawings (schematics, P&, ladder logic, one-lines)
- Ability to troubleshoot and perform mechanical and electrical repairs
- Must be legally authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.A.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for accurately completing all assigned required regulatory Department of Transportation (Use the "Apply for this Job" box below). safety checks and inspections and reports incidents and follows up as required
- Serves as a first responder to pipeline emergencies and accounts for people in their area
- Understands and participates in procedures and programs intended for both personal safety and pipeline safety
- Maintain Department of Transportation qualifications
- Responsible for rotating equipment, electrical, instrumentation and PLC maintenance, repairs and upgrades
- You will work out of our Fort Lupton Refinery Business Center, located at 13250 CR20 Fort Lupton Co 80621
- Hours of work are a regular 40-hour work week, Monday to Friday
- You will be required to perform some heavy lifting, use ladders and work on elevated work sites such as scaffolds and towers with the ability to perform in a variety of different environments both indoor and outdoor as well as within confined spaces
