General Summary
Responsible for reconciling various general ledger accounts for verification and control purposes. Reviews and monitors exception reports and return mail. Assists internal and external customers, as needed.
COMPENSATION: $20.50 - $21.50 Hourly
Responsibilities And Duties- Provides customer service and support for external and internal customers regarding inquiries and problem resolution.
- Reconciles and completes entries for third‑party funding accounts.
- Performs daily balancing and reviews of teller/vault accounts and limits; works with branch managers on resolution of offages.
- Conducts daily ATM entries serviced by armored car.
- Reviews exception reports and follows up on findings.

- Stop Pay and Non post review
- Call surprise audits
- Review new Positive Pay -- Cashier's Checks
- Backup withholding processing
- Bulk Tin review
- Assist with unclaimed property
- Review Forward Mail and send letters to customers
- Performs other duties as assigned by management.
- Regular and reliable attendance.
- Knowledge of bank operations and information systems.
- Knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles.
- Knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet software.
- Ability to communicate effectively with management, customers, and co-workers.
- Ability to pay close attention to detail and work with a high degree of accuracy and confidentiality.
- Ability to create an organized, efficient work environment.
- Ability to work under pressure of deadlines.
- High school graduate or equivalent with previous banking experience or equivalent work experience.
- Previous experience with computer software and bookkeeping preferred.
