Every truck we build is customized from the chassis up; we build our vehicles to suit the needs and desires of our diverse customer base.

As part of our team you will perform metal fabrication and welding functions.

* ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

*** Construct and manufacture metals parts and products using various welding techniques.
* Read and interpret blueprints, schematics and engineering drawings.
* Perform quality inspections to ensure welds meet specification and standards.
* Complete understanding of fixture welding and requirements for set-up & changes needed to complete the task.
* Ability to fabricate any item required to complete an assigned task.
* Use hand tools, power tools and measuring instruments to complete tasks.
* Maintain and repair welders and other large tools used in the fabrication department.
* Full understanding of what material is being welded and identify what weld process will be suitable for part/material.
* Collaborate with team members to plan and prioritize work assignments.
* Other duties as assigned by the manager.
** WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL ABILITIES:
*** Frequent mobility and/or sitting, standing, bending or stooping for prolonged/extended periods
* Requires lifting up to 50 pounds frequently
* Requires lifting up to 75 pounds occasionally
* Requires eye-hand coordination sufficient to operate machinery
* Requires full range of body motion including handling and lifting, manual and finger dexterity
* Requires working under stressful conditions or working irregular hours
* Requires working in a fast-paced environment
* Requires a normal range of hearing and vision
* Must understand vague and implicit instructions and react favorably in all work situations
* Must be able to communicate providing verbal feedback in a professional manner
** REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE &

SKILLS:

*** High School Diploma or GED equivalent
* Valid Driver's License and MVR in good standing.
* Ability to pass structural weld inspection
* Knowledge of steel and aluminum fabrication techniques
* Experience in machine operations in a manufacturing environment (preferred)
* Ability to use various power and hand tools
* Ability to read blueprints
* Ability to successfully complete a General Abilities Assessment and pass a Post-offer background check, physical and drug screening
