The hiring range for this position is $25.00 to $27.00 per hour depending on experience.

The Production Control Planner I is responsible for assisting in the timely release, scheduling and maintenance of shop work orders and work center labor loading.

• Utilize system requirement reports to release schedule work orders
• Continuously communicates changes and updates to accommodate customer needs
• Responds timely to sales and shop floor requests
• Plan, release, and manage work orders for designated areas

• Demonstrates beginning understanding of ERP system functionality
• Recognizes the need to modify the plan to fit the current short-term needs
• Familiar with structures and routings

• Sponsor effective communication between departments
• Communicates and maintains good working relationships with all internal staff

• High school diploma or GED, some college desired
• Relevant experience in manufacturing environment
• Basic knowledge and understand of ERP system functionality

• Proficient in Microsoft Office or equivalent

• Good written and oral communication skills
• Good relationship management skills
