Well-Logging Operator –II: Per Diem

Compensation Information

Compensation is competitive and commensurate with experience.

• Service Operator I: $20.00/hr potential Annual Earnings: $102,000/yearly
• Service Operator II: $21.50/hr potential Annual Earnings: $123,000/yearly
• Position eligible for a $300 monthly stipend based out of Fort Lupton, CO.
• $45/day Per Diem
• Hotel accommodations for 60 days for employees relocating to the Fort Lupton, CO area.
• 2 weeks on / 1 week off rotating day/night schedule. Halliburton reserves the right to adjust schedules based on industry needs.
• Sign‑On Bonus available (subject to conditions).

• Under direct supervision, rigs‑up and rigs‑down surface and down‑hole well logging equipment on work locations to record subsurface geological information.
• Operate well logging equipment at job sites.
• Assemble down‑hole well logging tools including electric, nuclear, sonic, and other well logging tools.
• Maintain, clean, and perform preventative maintenance on down‑hole and surface well logging equipment.
• Perform pre‑ and post‑job vehicle and equipment inspections with associated paperwork and reports.
• Learn to operate pressure control equipment.
• Execute tasks accurately to support cost containment, efficiency, profitability, and operations.

• Legally authorized to work in the United States (no sponsorship).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 6 months of experience as an Operator Assistant II‑L&P.
• Valid CDL for commercial equipment.
• Completion of Well Control Accreditation Program may be required (optional).
• Completion of water survival training may be required.
• Effective communication skills.
• Basic mathematical calculation skills.
• Basic reading comprehension and writing skills.
• Basic computer skills preferred.
• Knowledge of HMS standards and guidelines for PSL personnel.
• Commitment to safety, environmental consciousness, and HSE regulations.
• Participation in quality improvement processes.
• Ability to work day and night shifts.
