Plant Process Engineer

Conagra Brands is seeking a Plant Process Engineer to drive performance in our manufacturing operations. In this role, you will analyze and optimize production processes to improve safety, quality, yield, and efficiency across our branded food lines. You will lead data-driven continuous improvement and Lean/Six Sigma initiatives, support new product and equipment commercialization, and partner closely with operations, maintenance, quality, and R&D.

You will help maintain food safety and regulatory compliance while advancing an inclusive, innovative, and performance-driven culture that impacts how millions of consumers eat every day.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and optimize plant production processes to improve yield, quality, and throughput.
• Lead continuous improvement and Lean/Six Sigma projects to reduce waste and downtime.
• Develop and update process documentation, SOPs, and standard work instructions.
• Support commissioning, scaling, and validation of new products and equipment.
• Monitor process performance using data and statistical tools; recommend corrective actions.
• Collaborate with operations, maintenance, quality, and R&D to solve technical issues.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, regulatory, and company safety standards.
• Identify and implement automation and process control enhancements.
• Provide technical support for root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA).
• Train plant personnel on new processes, equipment, and best practices.
