This position works on a rotating 12-hour schedule, paid biweekly.
** Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
*** Material handling: includes taking samples, weighing and loading materials, packaging materials.
* Operation of production equipment and monitoring status of the production processes, while maintaining safety and quality standards.
* Testing and documenting product specifications and calculating adjustments through use of various spreadsheets to meet customer specifications.
* Lifting and moving of up to 50 lbs.
* Ability to read, follow and execute all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and maintaining all necessary shift paperwork including written and electronic records
* Maintain a clean workspace and environment
* 100% adherence to all safety practices and quality assurance systems
** Qualifications
* * In order to be qualified for this role, you must possess the following:
* High School Diploma or equivalent
* Willing and able to wear PPE (Personal Protective Equipment)
* Willing and able to lift 50 lbs
* Willing and able to work on a 12-hour rotating schedule
* Willing and able to work overtime to meet business needs
* Basic computer knowledge
* Able to climb (stairs and ladders)
* Able to operate a forklift
* Able to use basic tools (pliers, wrenches, hand cart, dolly, etc.)
* Able to work outside in various weather conditions (rain, snow, heat, etc.)
* Able to pass medical and drug screening tests
* Able to provide coverage on weekends, evenings, nights and holidays as scheduled on a regular basis
** The following skill sets are preferred:
*** Prior manufacturing experience
* Prior experience operating Powered Industrial Trucks, or like equipment
* Associates Degree or higher
* Experience using SAP
* Technical and/or Mechanical background
