Job Title: Private Duty Nurse (RN/LPN)

• 14 Years Old
• Tube Feedings/Cares
• ADL’s/IADL’s
• Continuous Medical Monitoring and Assessment
• Medication Administration

• Saturday: 7am-7pm (Every other weekend)

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pediatric Private Duty Nurse to provide one‑on‑one skilled nursing care for a child in the comfort of their home. As part of our team, you’ll play a vital role in improving the quality of life for pediatric patients and their families through attentive, individualized care.

• Understand and participate in case management of the home care client.
• Implement nursing‑care services under the direction and supervision of the RN Case Manager.
• Provide care within the scope of the Nurse Practice Act and the policies, rules, and guidelines that govern home health care.
• Maintain an adequate liaison with families and clients.
• Create and maintain an atmosphere of warmth, personal interest, and a positive attitude.
• Comply with safety precautions and infection control procedures at all times.
• Protect and promote the exercise of the client’s rights.
• Maintain the confidentiality of all client care information 100% of the time.
• Immediately notify the RN Case Manager when change in the client’s condition suggests the need to alter the plan of care.
• Utilize the plan of care as a tool to routinely provide client care.
• Administer medications and treatments only as ordered by the client’s attending physician and as written in the plan of care.

• Must possess a current Iowa license to practice nursing, LPN/LVN or RN.
• A minimum of one‑year experience in nursing is preferred, but not required.
• A current CPR Certification is required.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Proof of auto insurance.
• Must complete an Employee Health Questionnaire/Physical within 30 days of employment.
• Child abuse certification
