Registered Nurse positions starting at $42/hour, with additional compensation based on experience.

Birkwood Village Fort Madison is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team. In this role, you will deliver high-quality nursing care, collaborate with the interdisciplinary team, administer medications and treatments, monitor resident conditions, supervise CNAs, and ensure adherence to care plans and facility protocols.

Responsibilities

Deliver direct patient care in accordance with nursing standards and regulations
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
Monitor and document patient conditions and report changes to physicians
Collaborate with CNAs, LPNs, and other staff to provide comprehensive resident care
Participate in care planning, assessments, and discharge planning
Maintain accurate and timely medical records
Ensure a safe, clean, and supportive environment for residents

Qualifications

Current RN license in the state of practice
CPR/BLS certification
Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing preferred
Strong clinical, organizational, and communication skills
