Job Title: Warehouse Supervisor

Reports to: Plant Manager
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Job SummaryThis role will manage the warehouse for efficient, safe & effective receipt, storage, inventory, and transport of our components and finished goods. Responsible for overseeing a wide variety of warehouse activities including shipping and receiving raw materials and/or finished goods and maintaining inventory and associated records. In addition to supervising and coordinating activities of workers engaged in receiving, transporting, stacking, order filling, shipping and maintaining stock records in warehouse.
The incumbent is expected to be a self-starter, a good manager of time, work independently and follow Altor's standards for safety and conduct.
- Lead warehouse operations including, but not limited to uninterrupted delivery of goods to/from production lines and manufacturing areas, the receipt of inbound materials from vendors
- Supervise and assist in daily warehouse and shipping areas including filling and shipping customer orders; satisfying internal shipping requirements (technical service, vendors, etc.); ensuring accuracy of shipments and supporting documentation; receiving incoming material and routing to appropriate area(s) or personnel; filling work orders from production; packaging assemblies and receiving into finished goods; ensuring inventory transactions are accurately logged and overseeing cycle counts and reconciliation activities.
- Ensure efficient inbound and outbound transportation scheduling, unloading/loading and document execution
- Schedule shipments through customer website/portals
- Create and manage all domestic and foreign shipping documentation and accurate recordkeeping in ERP system
- Ensure all products, items and materials are sorted, labeled, and stored according to established accounting policies and standards including leading and conducting physical inventories and cycle counts.
- Create and manage receiving, warehousing, and distribution processes & procedures and confirm staff compliance with standard procedures
- Liaise with drivers, customers, and warehouse personnel.
- Establish and/or adjust work procedures to meet warehouse demands as dictated by production schedules and workflow.
- Develop and monitor procedures for safety and security of associates, facilities, environment, and products
- Support production line component requirements
- Ensure timely withdrawal of finished goods from production lines
- Assist with physical inventory plans of products and reconcile with data to maintain adequate inventory levels
- Inspect all warehouse equipment and order repairs & replacements when required
- Provide leadership by establishing clear expectations and demonstrating high standards of work practices and safety conscious behavior. Recruit, hire and train warehouse associates.

- Must be a team player
- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics or Purchasing preferred but not required
- Minimum of 3-5 years functional warehouse management and leadership experience
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong organizational/prioritization skills with an ability to multi-task to manage multiple projects while maintaining close attention to detail.
- Proficient in Net Suite/ERP system, Microsoft Office; advanced knowledge of MS Excel.
