Position: Coordinator for Community Development Initiatives
Drive community engagement and development in the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo as a Coordinator for Community Development Initiatives. Focus on empowering residents through strategic partnerships and innovative programs.

In this role, you will research and design special events that foster participation in recreation, arts, and beautification projects. You will also liaise with local organizations, analyze community resources, and facilitate workshops to achieve development goals. Strong multitasking and interpersonal skills are essential to ensure effective program delivery and community engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Research and design community engagement programs

• Analyze community needs for strategic solutions

• Facilitate workshops for local organizations

• Manage promotional campaigns for events

• Prepare administrative reports and budgets

Requirements:

• Diploma in a related field with six years of experience

• Strong project management skills required

• Valid Class Five Operator’s Licence

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications

• Knowledge of health and safety regulations
