Fort McMurray Hydrogeologist Position

Hatfield is seeking a Hydrogeologist in Fort McMurray, AB, focused on hydrogeologic monitoring and environmental reporting in a flexible, hybrid environment.
As a Hydrogeologist, you'll be integral in evaluating groundwater data and impacts of climate change on local resources.

Your role involves hands-on fieldwork, data collection, and technical communication with clients and agencies. Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, with a passion for field research and collaboration in multidisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure adherence to safety management plans

• Execute field programs for hydrogeologic data collection

• Collect and analyze environmental impact data

• Maintain, calibrate, and operate monitoring equipment

• Communicate findings in technical reports
Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field

• Minimum of 2 years groundwater experience

• Registration as geoscientist in training

• Direct experience with hydrogeologic instrumentation

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
