Hydrologist

Position: Hydrologist Role
Support environmental initiatives as a Hydrologist with Hatfield in Fort McMurray, Alberta. Engage in fieldwork and project management focused on hydrology and climate assessments.

As a Hydrologist, you will collaborate with a dedicated team tasked with addressing climate change impacts. Your responsibilities will include organizing monitoring programs, assessing water resources, and drafting technical reports. This position emphasizes rigorous scientific standards and daily home returns post-fieldwork.

Key Responsibilities:

• Organize hydrology monitoring programs effectively

• Assess and analyze impacts on water resources

• Draft comprehensive technical reports for clients

• Guide clients to comply with environmental regulations

• Maintain high safety standards throughout projects

Requirements:

• BSc. in engineering or a related discipline

• Minimum of 2 years in hydrometric program experience

• Proficient in the use of monitoring instruments

• Strong communication and project management abilities

• Valid driver’s license; truck driving experience required
