Junior Hydrologist

Hatfield is looking for a motivated Junior or Intermediate Hydrologist to support the design and implementation of hydrology and water resource components. Your work will include coordinating monitoring programs, analyzing climate data, and providing technical guidance. This position fosters a collaborative atmosphere while allowing you to grow professionally in a non-fly-in role based out of Fort McMurray.

Key Responsibilities:

• Organize and implement hydrologic monitoring programs

• Assess project and climate change impacts on water resources

• Compile hydrometric and climate data efficiently

• Support permitting activities and draft proposals

• Liaise with clients and regulators on environmental monitoring

Requirements:

•

B.Sc. in engineering or sciences with hydrology training

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in monitoring programs

• Proficiency with hydrometric and telemetry systems

• Project management aptitude

• Valid Canadian driver’s license and experience with pickups
