Rope Access Journeyperson Electrician

Position Summary

Tacten is seeking experienced Rope Access Journeyperson Electricians to support our client site, CNRL Horizon on our long-term maintenance rotation! As a Rope Access Electrician, you will be a key member of our team responsible for executing high-altitude tasks with precision, efficiency, and safety.

Project Details:

• CNRL Horizon
• Long-Term Maintenance
• 14/14 rotation, 11.5 hours per day at straight time
• Flights and Camp Accommodations are provided
• Start Date:
  
  May 6th or May 21st

• Set up and maintain electrical systems where required
• Installing and connecting electrical components such as motors, transformers, control panels, and other equipment necessary for industrial operations
• Identify issues, replace faulty components, and ensure that all machinery and equipment operate safely and efficiently.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical systems to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal performance.

• JM Electrician Certification
• IRATA Level 1 ticket required, or willingness to obtain
• CSTS/OSSA or OSSA BSO or OSSA CSO
• Ability to maintain positive working relations with clients
• Exceptional safety and quality awareness
• Ability to solve problems and manage time effectively
• Self‑motivated and capable of working at a high technical and performance level
