Position: Power Lineman Technicians Needed
Ledcor is seeking Power Lineman Technicians in Fort McMurray, Alberta, focusing on the construction and maintenance of both overhead and underground power systems. This role emphasizes stringent safety standards and equipment operation.

Candidates with journeyman status or those in apprenticeship programs will thrive here. Your responsibilities include operating heavy machinery and assembling essential power structures, directly impacting the infrastructure's efficiency and safety. This position offers an opportunity to work on a prominent project in northern Alberta.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install and maintain transmission and distribution power systems

• Operate bucket trucks and loaders safely on-site

• Assemble various forms of powerline structures

• Interpret construction plans and schematics

• Adhere to safety standards and mentor junior team members

Requirements:

• Journeyman or registered/aspiring Powerline Technician

• 1-3 years relevant construction experience

• Ability to work at heights and in outdoor conditions

• Valid Class 5 driver’s license with clear driving record

• Strong teamwork and communication skills
