Ironworker Position at FLINT

FLINT is seeking a skilled Ironworker for the Fort McMurray Capital Project, featuring a 14 days on and 7 days off rotation. Engage in welding, piping, and structural installations in a supportive environment.

This temporary role lasts from June 2026 until March 2027, focusing on construction needs in the oil and gas sector. Candidates must have at least four years of relevant experience and be equipped with a valid journeyperson certificate. Safety protocols, such as Common Safety Orientation, are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute the installation of structural elements

• Conduct welding and piping roles as required

• Uphold stringent safety measures on-site

• Communicate efficiently with team members

• Arrive on-site using reliable transportation

Requirements:

• Valid Journeyperson or Apprentice Trade certification

• A minimum of four years’ oil and gas construction experience

• Completion of required safety ticket courses

• Clean 5-year Driver’s Abstract with fewer than six demerits

• Capability to perform physically intensive work
