Experienced B-Pressure Welder at Ledcor

Join Ledcor as an experienced B-Pressure Welder for a critical water piping project in Fort McMurray, Alberta. If you excel at high-quality welding and have the right certifications, we want to meet you.

This role requires a Journeyperson Welder ticket along with Alberta B-Pressure and CWB certifications. You will perform welding on carbon steel piping, ensuring adherence to ABSA codes and project specifications. Interpreting P&IDs and drawings is essential to meet the project’s quality and safety standards while executing SMAW and GTAW welding tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform pressure welding in line with project specifications

• Execute SMAW and GTAW welding techniques accurately

• Read and interpret technical drawings and welding procedures

• Support rigging and pipelining activities safely

• Maintain welding equipment and tools effectively

Requirements:

• Journeyperson Welder ticket from a recognized authority

• Alberta B-Pressure Welder Certification required

• Previous industrial construction experience necessary

• Valid driver’s license with DSP documentation

• Pass pre-employment drug and alcohol tests
