As a Heavy Duty Mechanic, you’ll split your time between the shop in Strathmore and the field in Fort McMurray. This position requires you to have a Journeyman Heavy Duty Equipment Technician ticket and over two years of experience. Working with a maintenance team, you'll ensure a fleet of more than 120 units operates efficiently throughout various industries.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform preventative maintenance and equipment diagnostics

• Adjust equipment and assess necessary repairs

• Conduct tests on repaired equipment for performance

• Maintain and organize a clean workshop

• Keep detailed daily records of work activities

Requirements:

• Minimum 2+ years as a Journeyman Heavy Duty Mechanic

• Valid driver's license and clean driving record

• Proficient in troubleshooting equipment issues

• Comprehensive set of Heavy Duty Mechanic tools

• Capability to lift weights up to 50 lbs
