Utility Operators - Syncrude Aurora - 6/6 - Fort McMurray, AB

Utility Operators are needed at Fort McKay Group of Companies LP for work at the Syncrude Aurora site north of Fort McMurray, Alberta. This role involves operating a variety of heavy equipment in a civil construction environment, with a strong focus on safety and teamwork. The ideal candidate will have experience with multiple types of equipment and a commitment to maintaining a safe worksite.

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Valid class five (5) driver’s license and clean three (3) year drivers abstract
• At least 2+ years of verifiable experience in an equipment operating role in a Civil Construction, Earthworks, or Utility environment
• Ability to operate:
  Truck (777), Wiggle Wagons, Excavators (470 - 870), Dozer (D6- D10), Grader (16M)
• CSO or BSO or OSSA certification
• Ability to speak, write and read English
• Must be legally eligible to work in Canada Completion of pre-employment/pre-access testing (safety-sensitive position)
