Electronic Security Technician

Position: Electronic Security Technician at Convergint
Join the innovative team at Convergint as an Electronic Security Technician in Kitimat or Terrace, BC. This role focuses on installing and optimizing security systems while ensuring client satisfaction.
You will play a critical role by installing, programming, and servicing a wide variety of security systems and equipment. Your responsibilities will include responding to service calls, performing scheduled maintenance, and conducting customer training. Your dedication to service excellence will help in ensuring the security needs of our clients are seamlessly met.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install and service multiple security systems across various sites

• Execute troubleshooting procedures for malfunctioning systems

• Conduct customer training and generate service reports

• Manage project aspects including certification and close-out documentation

• Work closely with project managers for seamless execution
Requirements:

• Diploma in Electronics is strongly preferred

• Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in security systems

• Solid mechanical and electrical aptitude required

• Must hold a valid driver's license

• Effective interpersonal and communication skills
