IRATA Level 3 Technician

Elevate your career as an IRATA Level 3 Technician with Tacten supporting the Fall Turnaround at CNRL in Fort McMurray, Alberta. This crucial role focuses on safety and compliance in rope access activities.
Tacten is seeking skilled technicians to participate in turnaround activities at one of Canada’s leading oil sands projects. This position requires expertise in rigging, inspections, and mentoring lower-level technicians while adhering to IRATA standards. As a vital member of our team, you will contribute to various essential operational tasks over a competitive rotation schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure rope access activities meet IRATA and company safety standards

• Perform inspections and maintenance using rope access techniques

• Conduct pre-job hazard assessments and toolbox meetings

• Mentor Level 1 and Level 2 technicians in safe practices

• Document all work performed, inspections, and safety checks
Requirements:

• Valid IRATA Level 3 Certification required

• Minimum 2 years of industry experience

• Strong understanding of rigging principles and rescue techniques

• Excellent leadership and communication skills

• Valid Driver's License and clean Driver’s Abstract
