Join Birch Mountain Enterprises as a Journeyman Parts Technician and provide vital support to our operations. Benefit from a 7 on 7 off schedule while managing parts and team activities.
Based in Fort McKay, this role is crucial for overseeing parts ordering, inventory control, and staff management at our warehouse/shop. Successful applicants will have journeyman status as a Parts Technician, and 3 to 5 years of experience, alongside demonstrated leadership capabilities. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are necessary for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Quote and distribute parts according to needs
• Ensure accurate tracking of inventory and costs
• Negotiate purchase agreements with vendors
• Organize parts inventory and implement cataloging
• Assist in maintaining a safe and efficient workplace
Requirements:
• Preference for candidates with journeyman status
• 3 to 5 years’ experience in a parts technician role
• Previous leadership experience needed
• Valid Class 5 driver's license required
• Forklift certification is a plus
