Heavy Equipment Technicians - 7x7 or 14x14 - $62.44/hr - Fort McMurray, AB

CEDA is seeking experienced Heavy Equipment Technicians (Journeyman) for their Fort McMurray shop. This role involves preventative maintenance and repairs on a variety of specialized industrial vehicles and equipment. • Journeyman Heavy Equipment Technician certification (On-Road)
• Valid Class 5 driver’s licence with no more than 5 demerits in the last 3 years
• Class 1 or 3 driver’s licence is an asset
• CVIP licence, or ability to obtain
• Experience in hydraulic, electrical, and pump systems is an asset
• Ability to provide a negative pre-employment drug and alcohol test
• Must provide own tools

• Knowledge of Cummins, CAT, and John Deere engines
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail
• Enjoyment of teamwork and problem-solving
