As a Materials Technician, your primary responsibility involves safe material handling and warehousing, ensuring smooth operations through effective problem assessment and resolution. You’ll work closely with stakeholders to manage inventory accurately and maintain compliance with safety standards.
Experience with material handling equipment is essential for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Handle, warehouse, and manage materials safely
• Adapt to various sectors within the trade
• Troubleshoot and enhance material handling procedures
• Collaborate with internal teams for smooth operations
• Ensure workspace cleanliness and equipment maintenance
Requirements:
• Completion of a Pre-Access Drug and Alcohol Test
• Material Technician Apprentice/Journeyperson as an asset
• Valid Class 5 driver’s license with forklift certification
• Experience in warehouse management systems is preferred
• Certification in Loader/Zoomboom/Skidsteer and basic rigging
