B-Pressure Welder

Position: B-Pressure Welder Role
Ledcor is seeking a skilled B-Pressure Welder for a water piping replacement project in Fort McMurray, Alberta. Bring your technical expertise and commitment to quality to this long-term employment opportunity.

As a B-Pressure Welder, you'll operate under strict safety protocols while executing pressure welds on carbon steel piping.

Your role will include performing SMAW and GTAW welding, ensuring all work complies with ABSA codes and project requirements. You will read and interpret P&IDs and other technical documentation to execute high-quality welds efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute pressure welding on piping systems accurately

• Perform SMAW and GTAW welding as assigned

• Interpret P&IDs and project specifications with precision

• Assist with pipe rigging and safety equipment handling

• Maintain welding rig and necessary tools efficiently

Requirements:

• Journeyperson Welder certification from recognized authority

• Alberta B-Pressure Certification mandatory

• Solid experience in industrial construction required

• Provide current DSP documentation

• Must clear pre-employment drug and alcohol testing
