Job OverviewIf you take pride in keeping a fleet running at its best, this role puts you in the driver’s seat. You’ll be the go‑to expert for maintaining and servicing our light‑ and medium‑duty fleet, owning everything from diagnostics to shop standards. This is hands‑on, high‑impact work where your skill keeps our field operations moving safely and reliably every day.
Reports to: Supervisor, Field Services
Shift: Monday
- Friday, day shift
Allowances: Additional premiums and allowances are associated with this position due to location
Safety Sensitive: Yes- drug & alcohol testing, physical demand fit testing, RCMP criminal record check and submission of 5-year provincial driving record will be required
Travel: up to 25% travel within Canada
Relocation: This position does not offer relocation
- Maintain and repair Ford F‑150, F‑250, and F‑550 fleet vehicles
- Diagnose and complete frontend, suspension, steering, and driveline repairs
- Mount and balance tires and coordinate major repairs with external vendors (Borealis / Ford)
- Ensure tools, welding units, and shop equipment remain serviceable and ready for use
- Inspect and maintain welding equipment including Miller Big Blue 800 and Lincoln Vantage units
- Complete winter readiness inspections and coordinate major repairs with vendors
- Maintain shop organization, equipment readiness, and accurate service records
- 3-5 years’ experience working on Ford light‑ and medium‑duty trucks
- Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills with solid organization habits
- Ability to work independently while upholding safety and quality standards
- Able to safely lift up to 50lbs
- Valid class 5 driver’s license with a clean record
