Position: Engine Field Service Technician (Fort Hills - CAMP POSITION)

Job Summary

Diagnoses and completes less complex repairs to engines at the customer’s site.

We are looking for a talented Field Service Diesel Technician/Mechanic to join our Distribution business in Fort Hills CAMP POSITION.

7x7 rotations days and nights. Fly in and fly out with airport hubs in Edmonton and Calgary.

Responsibilities
  • Complete repairs on engine products in a service shop
  • Perform maintenance/repairs utilizing diagnostic tools
  • Maintain detailed records of serviced vehicles
  • Adhere to Cummins Health, Safety & Environmental policies
  • Ongoing development/certifications on new and existing Cummins products
  • Maintain own tools
Qualifications
  • Completes complex internal engine repairs
  • Performs engine overhauls unassisted
  • Detailed understanding of the aftertreatment system and components
  • Proficient experience with engine diagnostic software
Job Requirements
  • Apprentice Trained Engine Technician (Preferred)
  • Vocational diploma from a relevant technical institution
  • Locally valid driving permit

This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.

Experience
  • Basic level field service work experience
  • Intermediate level knowledge of and/or experience with engine products
  • Customer service experience
Compensation and Benefits

$65.00/hour with special assignment pay $350/month. Base salary rate commensurate with experience. Additional benefits vary between locations and include options such as our Company Pension Plan, Medical/Dental/Life Insurance, Health Savings Account, and a full complement of personal and professional benefits.

Screening
