Salary Range: $110,000 - $120,000 annually

- Certification. You have done the hard work and training required to earn certification as a Red Seal Heavy Equipment Technician and you’re ready to apply all that you have learned to make Nors Construction Equipment your customers’ first choice.
- Critical Thinker. You cut to the chase by collecting and examining technical information and make decisions on what is relevant in order to pinpoint issues with different equipment systems.
- Keeping Your Cool. You may need to work under pressure while maintaining a strong focus on quality service, possibly in remote areas or extreme weather conditions. This can be a physical job with heavy lifting and carrying.
- Relationship Builder. You’ll get to know your customers, their equipment, and their business, building rapport and trust.
- Vigilance. Report customer satisfaction, trends, and other useful information to your service supervisor, and report possible leads for equipment sales to the sales team.
- Mentorship. Listen actively and perform competence analysis of apprentice technicians, identify areas for improvement and provide on‑the‑job training.
- Organization. This is a detail‑oriented position and you have already developed personal systems for organizing your work, ensuring you’re prepared with information, parts and tooling before attending a worksite.
- Red Seal or Journeyperson Technician Certification
- 2-5 years related experience
- Solid knowledge of equipment systems and repairs
- Good communication skills with peers and supervisors
- Basic knowledge of computer applications
- Committed to continuous learning
- Strong technical background and capable of communicating with technicians and customers regarding parts and service
- Health & Safety Knowledge – OH & S rules and regulations guidelines
- Heavy Equipment Technician Red Seal certification
