Off-Road Heavy Duty Mechanic at NASI

In this role, you will be on-site at our Syncrude-Aurora location, ensuring machinery is operational and safe. Ideal candidates will possess a Journeyman certification and have a track record of working with off-road vehicles. The flexible 14 x 14 work schedule allows for effective work-life balance while enabling significant overtime earning potential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct repairs on off-road trucks and equipment

• Perform preventative maintenance on all machinery

• Inspect and evaluate mechanical systems for faults

• Lead repair mobilization efforts on-site

• Train and mentor junior mechanics and apprentices
Requirements:

• Valid off-road Journeyperson certification

• Minimum of 2 years’ hands-on experience

• Excellent troubleshooting and leadership skills

• Familiarity with computers for paperwork

• Safety certifications including H2S Awareness
