Take your skills to the next level as a Maintenance Technician specializing in instrumentation at Suncor's Base Plant in Fort McMurray. This role emphasizes safety and advancing facility operations.
Ideal candidates are experienced Journey persons dedicated to maintaining and improving instrumentation. You will work with critical instrumentation and controls, utilizing your knowledge to troubleshoot effectively. Familiarity with P&IDs and loop diagrams is essential for this position.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain and troubleshoot instrumentation equipment
• Utilize test equipment for precise measurements and diagnostics
• Read P&IDs, loop drawings, and interpret data sheets
• Adhere to safety guidelines and foster a safe work environment
• Perform physically demanding tasks including lifting and climbing
Requirements:
• Two years experience in a large industrial setting
• Valid Alberta Journeyperson or Interprovincial Red Seal certificate
• GED or High School Diploma required
• Clean driver’s license and driving record
• Ability to relocate to within 60 km of Fort Mc Murray
