Position: Industrial Mechanic Role at Primoris
Be part of Primoris Canada’s success as an Industrial Mechanic in Fort McMurray, AB. Your main focus will be on the maintenance and repair of heavy-duty engines and equipment.
As an Industrial Mechanic, you will be tasked with diagnosing malfunctions, conducting repairs, and ensuring equipment runs efficiently. This position demands a thorough understanding of internal combustion engines, along with the ability to follow safety procedures. Being a ticketed journeyman is a prerequisite, alongside experience with CAT equipment to excel in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out repairs following manufacturer guidelines

• Keep detailed service reports for all work done

• Troubleshoot machinery and fix defects

• Maintain cleanliness and operation standards

• Assist with training other technicians and apprentices
Requirements:

• Must hold an Alberta journeyman certificate

• 5+ years with Caterpillar machinery required

• Knowledge of pipeline equipment is beneficial

• CSTS-09 and/or CSO certified

• Must be able to lift 50lbs regularly
