Journeyperson Instrumentation Technician

Position: Journeyperson Instrumentation Technician Needed
Jardeg is seeking a skilled Instrumentation Technician Journeyperson for maintenance operations at CNRL Horizon. This permanent position offers a competitive hourly rate and day shifts on a 7/7 rotation.
Starting mid-June, this role entails working on-site near Fort McMurray, Alberta. You will be responsible for the installation and upkeep of instrumentation systems while adhering to industry safety regulations. Your experience with DCS systems will be valuable for effective project execution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Undertake instrumentation systems installation and maintenance

• Handle DCS systems and control hierarchies like Delta V

• Accurately read technical specifications and P&IDs

• Use advanced testing equipment efficiently

• Engage with multiple instrument manufacturers like Flowserve and Metso
Requirements:

• Valid Journeyperson certification for Instrumentation Technician

• Strong safety and regulatory commitment

• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks

• Pass necessary drug and alcohol testing

• Valid government photo  relevant safety certifications
