Nason Contracting Group Ltd. is currently seeking Journeyperson Carpenters for work at our project Suncor Fort Hills.

• Schedule Rotation: 14 days on 7 days off
• Accommodations:

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine specifications and calculate requirements for modular trailer complex renovations
• Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools
• Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and/or other materials
• Fit and install trim items such as doors, stairs, molding and hardware.
• Ability to install and finish drywall, painting, interior systems, T-bar ceilings and finish carpentry are all assets for this position

• Valid Journeyperson or Apprenticeship Certificate
• CSTS 2020
• WHMIS 2015
• Fall Protection (ESC)
• MEWP (ESC)
• H2S Awareness (ESC)
• Extensive knowledge of the occupational hazards and safety precautions applicable to the work
• The ability to lift, carry and handle weight up to 50lbs
• Must be organized, self-driven, and have ability to understand and execute oral and written instructions
