Journeyman Rig Welder

Position: Journeyman Rig Welder Required
Join Stuart Olson as a Journeyman Rig Welder in Alberta for diverse turnaround and project work. Starting from September 2026, this role offers great compensation and camp provisions.
We are looking for skilled Rig Welders to work at various sites including Cold Lake and Fort McMurray. Candidates should possess experience in welding processes such as GTAW and GMAW and must be capable of reading blueprints. This role requires strong attention to detail, commitment to safety, and collaboration with fellow welders to ensure project success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Follow welding process specifications and adhere to WPS

• Perform repairs and maintenance on metal products

• Maintain accurate task completion while adhering to safety

• Understand and implement various welding techniques

• Collaborate with the team on project goals
Requirements:

• Journeyman Welder or Red Seal Ticket required

• Valid GTAW and B Pressure tickets

• Familiarity with welding tests and certifications

• Strong communication skills and customer focus

• CSTS certification and ability to pass testing
