FLINT is hiring a Heavy Equipment Technician with Journeyperson Off Road Certification for a permanent role in Fort McMurray, AB, featuring attractive camp accommodations and a 7/7 rotation.
This role requires min 1-year experience with heavy equipment, especially in oil sands or open-pit mining sectors. The technician will work on large machinery from renowned manufacturers like Caterpillar, Liebherr, and Komatsu. Compliance with safety regulations, including a CSO certification, is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Repair and maintain large off-highway mining equipment

• Inspect equipment for performance issues

• Implement safety measures during repairs

• Provide updates on repair statuses

• Utilize tools efficiently during service
Requirements:

• Valid Journeyperson Heavy Equipment Technician Certification-Off Road

• 1 year of heavy equipment experience

• Hands-on experience with selected equipment brands

• Completed necessary safety certifications

• Strong physical capability for demanding tasks
